Minnesota Zoo – June 2016
Took a little roadtrip to Minnesota a few weeks ago including a quick trip to the Minnesota Zoo. It was a muggy but enjoyable visit. Click any image to view larger.
Mount Roosevelt Memorial

While in Deadwood last week I decided to check out Mount Roosevelt Memorial. To get to the trailhead take US highway 85 northbound out of Deadwood. In a couple miles you’ll take a left onto Mt Roosevelt Road, which is the same turn for The Lodge at Deadwood. About two and a half miles up this gravel road you’ll find the sign for Mount Roosevelt Memorial & Picnic Ground.
Crazy Horse Spring Volksmarch 2016

Hiked the 10k Crazy Horse Volksmarch this weekend! A Volksmarch is an organized hike typically 10k (6.2 miles) or 5k (3.1 miles) in length. At the Crazy Horse Volksmarch hikers follow dirt trails and gravel roads all the way up to the arm of Crazy Horse directly in front of his nine-story-high face. The elevation of Crazy Horse is 6,740 feet, just 500 feet lower than Harney Peak which is the highest point in South Dakota. The Crazy Horse Volksmarch is the most popular organized hike in the United States, with 15,000 walkers in a record year. Continue reading
David Cook @ Deadwood Mountain Grand 6/2/2016
After seven years I finally got to see David Cook in concert again! Such a great show! Hopefully I won’t have to wait another seven years for the next one. Here’s a few photos from the night. Unfortunately the spotlight washed out David’s face a ton so a lot of my shots were beyond saving.
Feel free to post these images on fansites/twitter/etc just PLEASE don’t remove my tag. I’d also love it if you linked back to this website.

Final photo blog from my Denver trip. Just a few snapshots from the Denver Museum of Nature of Science. Some of the best taxidermy displays I have ever seen!
Denver Zoo – March 2016

While in Denver last month I spent two days at the Denver Zoo. I highly recommend a visit if you’re ever in the Denver area. Founded in 1896 some areas, such as the feline building, are a bit old school zoo design and feel a bit cramped. But other exhibit spaces are modern and very spacious. In fact the elephant habitat is said to be one of the largest in the world! Continue reading

Adam Lambert in Vegas 2016
And now here’s my second photo blog from my Week of Adam. As fantastic as the Denver show was, Vegas is hands down the best Adam Lambert concert I’ve ever been to, period. General Admission crowds are just at a whole ‘nother level of awesome! We arrived to the queue at 9:30am, and ended up being the only ones in line for regular GA until almost 2pm! Unfortunately there were over 200 (!!!) Early Entry VIPs for this show, so in the end I was still 3 or 4 rows back. I lucked out as everyone in front of me was shorter than me (perks of being a 6 foot tall chick I guess lol) but still. Someday, Adam. Someday I will finally get to see you from the front row.
As I already mentioned on the Denver post, feel free to post these images on fansites/twitter/etc just PLEASE don’t remove my tag. I’d also love it if you linked back to this website.

Adam Lambert in Denver 2016
Spent the last few days traveling to see Adam Lambert’s The Original High Tour! He is amazeballs! Here is my first of two concert photo blogs. This batch isn’t quite as good in my opinion, being further away and up in the front row mezzanine, but man switching to black & white really helps fix the photos with faces washed out by the lights. Speaking of OH MY GOD THAT LIGHT SHOW WAS INCREDIBLE! You could never properly appreciate this light show from the front row. Anyway, feel free to share these images on other fansites/twitter/whatever just PLEASE don’t remove my tag. Linking back to this website would also be really awesome of you to do.
