After driving by Bear Country so many times I finally made it inside. Unfortunately it was in the middle of a warm afternoon so most of the animals were keeping a low profile. At least the badgers and the bear cubs were still very active and were very enjoyable to watch. As always click any image to view larger.

My husband and I visited Bear Country some years ago and I must say that I hated it. There were many bear cubs kept by themselves, taken away from their mothers. They were standing in a long line, each one sucking on the ear of the one in front. It was disturbing to me and very sad. I have never forgotten how awful it was to see those little bears.
