Mike Shinoda in Denver 11/09/2018

Had the chance to see one of my favorite people in the world on his first ever solo tour! Was also fortunate enough to have VIP before the show which included a group mural session with Mike himself!

Keep an eye out for the bracelet you can see Mike wearing in some shots. I designed and created it, inspired by Mike’s Post Traumatic artwork, and gave it to him in the meet & greet!

The entire day was such a beautiful experience, especially seeing the flag we had all signed during Chester’s Denver memorial in August of 2017, an event which you can see the photos of here.

LoveLoud 2018

This past weekend I attended the second annual LoveLoud music festival in Salt Lake City, Utah, an event which raised $1 million dollars for LQBTQ+ charities.

It was a thrill to finally see Imagine Dragons in concert after years of wishing to do so, as well as seeing one of Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park’s first performances as a solo artist. Coincidentally enough this show also marked the exact six year anniversary of discovering Neon Trees at a different music festival, which made seeing their lead singer Tyler Glenn perform at LoveLoud even more special. And all for a wonderful cause.

Linkin Park Underground Tour 3/15/2003

Pulled this one out of an old CD-RW of scanned 35mm film images. Only a handful of these are any good to my own photographer standards but I figured other Linkin Park fans would get a kick out of looking at 15 year old concert photos. And only one photo from the meet & greet because I barely got through talking to Mike Shinoda before my brain lost all function and forgot the ability to take photos while meeting the rest of the band lol

One of my favorite concert queue memories was when the tourbus rolled in to the parking lot around the corner and a bunch of the fanboys in line went chasing after it while us girls just stood there looking at each other like “aren’t WE supposed to be the stereotypical crazy fans that chase after tourbuses?!” lol

And then a crew guy left the door to the club ajar so those of us near the front of the line got to hear the soundcheck (some even snuck inside shhhh) and got to hear Chester’s screaming rendition of Happy Birthday to Joe Hahn.

Linkin Park ATS Tour 1/28/2011

One of my goals this year is getting all of my older concert photography into galleries on this website. Starting with my favorite of all the Linkin Park shows I had the pleasure of attending.

QUEEN + Adam Lambert in St. Paul 2017

Saw Queen + Adam Lambert last Friday in Minnesota and it was incredible from start to finish! My half hour struggle to purchase tickets when they first went on sale became the luckiest moment ever when my just okay floor seat 21 rows back ended up being FRONT ROW at the end of the stage’s catwalk! I have never been front row for a show of this caliber before, and definitely have not been front row for anything Adam Lambert related in spite of my best efforts (seriously I was once first in line for GA and still ended up three or four rows back) so this was a very special treat. And it made my little photographer’s heart very happy to be able to knock out some shots without a bunch of phone screens blocking the views.

And at one point Adam actually stopped to tell me he liked my shirt. To an entire sold out arena! WHAT?! Talk about a highlight for life! So pleased someone else caught it on video so I can relive that moment on the daily. I’ve always joked that we have an eerily similar taste in fashion so it was nice to have that thought somewhat confirmed lol.

David Cook @ Deadwood Mountain Grand 6/2/2016

After seven years I finally got to see David Cook in concert again! Such a great show! Hopefully I won’t have to wait another seven years for the next one. Here’s a few photos from the night. Unfortunately the spotlight washed out David’s face a ton so a lot of my shots were beyond saving.
